Join Queenstown Film Society

Become a member of Queenstown Film Society and you can enjoy 20 nights of film entertainment that works out to just $7.50 per film, with an additional benefit of concession rates at New Zealand International Film Festival screenings and free entry to screenings at other New Zealand film societies, space allowing.

Full membership ($150) covers the entire season from the end of April 2027 – with two weeks off for school holidays in July. Depending on member numbers, we may also be able to offer half-season memberships ($75) beginning July 2027. Please note memberships are not transferable: they can only be used by the named member and cannot be on-sold.

In recent years we have had to turn a few potential new members away because we have reached our membership cap. So if you’d like to join up, please send a message via our contact form as soon as you can to secure your place at the top of the waiting list.

Anyone is welcome to go on our mailing list – just go to our Mailchimp sign-up page.
